![]() Ancient, worn and cracked. 1800's are ripped from history. No detail was left untouched-- artwork on each card was delicately hand-crafted by ***********'s top graphic team. Even the seal on the deck looks like it was left in a gritty New York alley "for a spell". Better. Badder. Older.

i heard these look amazing, but there are some faults to them. I've been hearing that the finish isn't as "high quality" as the other E decks (personally i think normal bikes already have good quality), and that the inside of the box doesnt have any art.
this isn't a big deal, because i don't suspect that spectators will actually look inside the box, but still.. it'd be nice to have. |

Correct, inside of every box that I have received from E has not had any designs.
I have two 1800 style decks and I never use em for the shear fact I am afraid to ruin em lol. They all fan and have great finishes. I dunno if people are receiving defective decks or what, but mine are fine

That is the reason for getting them. They look totally awesome. It seems to me that just the fact that the cards look cool would increase the "wow" factor of the trick. I'll have to put this theory to the test, but mine haven't arrived yet.

Also, it's been raised by some of my friends that the cards may seems to handle like trash only because they look like it. Although it could be the fact that the finish is bad, it's more likely to be a psychological factor. Who expects a 200 year old deck to fan like butter anyways? Definitely not me.
What could make the finish so "not-good"? It's absolutely not the paint, as tigers and vipers are covered in black and silver paint. It's probably also not the finish because, I mean c'mon.. it's USPCC!! The standard Air-Cushion Finish makes these cards better than 90% of all the other cards on the market. Besides, coming in at six bucks a pop, I'm pretty sure that the finish is at least decent. After all, they are all running through the same card presses. My two cents. King |
