Hello everybody,
as everyone knows, the ExoMagic Shop is up and running, taking orders.

To celebrate this and the very succesfull launch of the new site, we came up with a new contest for you all.

The topic:
Original flourish-creation

What's an "original flourish-creation", you might ask?
Well, it basically is a flourish you developed. It can be anything, a cut, a fan, a display, but also a flourish, having a different flourish as a basis or a cool concept.
You see - you basically can do anything as long as it looks cool and you created it.

What are the prices then?

The DVD will be shipped to the winner for free.

Rules: Read them, or you will be disqualified!

The move must be original! That means it has to be created by you!
The move mustn't be in a different video by you!
The video must be made by you! To assure that, everybody has to show ANY phone at the end of the video. Videos without a phone at the end will be disqualified. Showing a piece of paper with the words "ExoMagic" written on it is also allowed.
Fancy editing won't be judged
The video has to be clear enough to see the whole move. Videos 2 dark or of a too bad quality, so that you can't/barely see the move will be dismissed.
The video can be uploaded to any hoster (YouTube, Veoh, Vimeo, Revvr and so on!) Please try to avoid Rapidshare and other one click hosters.
Staff can't apply, sorry!
The rules can be changed by the Administrators (Exo, Breen) at any time during the contest!

From today ( 08.31.2008 ) you have 2 weeks to finish up your video and post it in this thread. So the deadline is the 08.28 (28th of August) 00:00.

All videos posted will be watched, checked on originality and rated. The best rated video wins.
It's from 0 - 10 points (0 worst - 10 best).

So have a lot of fun creating some flourishes and filming.
Even though editing won't be judged, don't hesitate to add some nice editing if you have the time!

Have to be the original? altough i am new to cardistry,but i am only smooth at the flourishes that the flourisher like D&D,Daniel Madison,Devo,....taught
i am not good enough to come up with my own.

Again, to clarify.
You have to show an actual phone at the end of the video. So you do your move, then pick up a phone and show it for a second.
This is to make sure that a) the video is only for the contest and b) the video is made by yourself.
Noone else shows phones at the end of the vid.

If you don't have a phone you can show, you can cut out a picture of a magazine, draw a phone on paper or anything like that.
Everything is allowed, as long as it is held in front of the cam in the actual video.
