I would like to have a 21-card magician fooler. You know the classic trick where you put 7 cards per row and the person mentally pictures a card and there are 3 phasses and at the end you get the person's card there?, I would like us to create a trick that would definately fool magicians.
This is the ONE trick everyone shows me when I go in a bar and I go to do some tricks and some guy says I know a card trick, I'd like to show it to you. So this is the deal... there are no time deadlines for now, as incentive the best idea will recieve a brand new never opened original DVD of DISINTIGRATION by Pierre-Luc Bergeron and Bedfros 'Spidey' Akkelian! In itself the idea of lowering the expectations of the magician-spectator by presenting to him the most known trick in the world and blowing him away is very seductive an idea. To the magician doing magic for fun in a bar you a spectator that wants to show a little somethign to him.... something which the magician has seen oh so many times ![]() Here are several possible kickers : All the cards are the spectator's selection All the cards are blank except the spectator's selection (after magician's force elemination process which I can explain if you want) All the cards vanish/squish into one card which is the spectator's selection Now what needs to be establised is possible handlinigs for packet switches. Since this trick requires a table we will assume that you and the spectator are both sit down... so lapping could be a solution. Please give us even simple little pointers. Lets start first of all in a brainstorming mood. Here's a a link to the trick description which shows how available this trick is... freely available in about 183,000 pages on google. ![]() http://www.magicexhibit.org/try/TwentyOne.pdf

You could do something where at the end you turn all the cards over, cover them with a large cloth, then take the cloth away, and one card is a different color than the rest. Or make their card disappear and reaper face up in the deck.
You could put a bit of wax on the back of their card as you turn it over, then let the card stick to the cloth, palm it, and produce it somewhere. Just throwing ideas around. Heh. Throw the cards into a fire, and have theirs NOT burn. That'd hit them hard.

There ya go.
More ideas: Magically produce a mouse, have it run around and stop on their card. (maybe have a piece of cheese printed on their card?) Ask them to draw a card out of the deck, count from the corner that many cards, land on theirs. (all these are done with the cards face down.) For the "burn all cards except theirs" one, you could tell them to name a number between 1 and 21. Say they choose 5. Cut the deck, tell them to pick up the card. Repeat that until they have 4 cards. On the fifth card, use the backslip force, and force a card on them. Deal them more cards, until they have 21. Have THEM arrange the cards face up in rows of seven, the turn them face down. (Remember, you know where their card is, because you forced it and saw where they put it.) Now, pick up the cards, starting in the corner, hold them to a lighter. (card tilted like "/", lighter underneath). burn cards. When you get to their's, palm a large coin (half dollar or quarter, or something that size), press it against the back of the card. Since the card is tilted towards you, they can't see this. The coin should absorb the heat and not burn. Then burn the rest of the cards. Just a rough idea, popped into my head how to do it as I was typing more ideas. EDIT: Well, I tried burning a card with a quarter behind it... and it still burns. ![]() So that idea is scrapped, unless someone can think of a different way to do it.

lol just don't put your card back. that'll fool them.
or better yet, swap their deck for a svengali deck and pull out your card 12 times
