You're not the only "pro" if you could honestly call yourself one, I too am a professional working magician. I respect you're opinion but I must disagree. I beleive that each gaff on here, works for some specific purpose, and that none of these cards, are "modifications" any more than they are simply gaffed playing cards. And that is why I beleive you are incorrect.

I like all of the gaffs, but honestly, no offense tomer, but I for one would never use your gaffs. Kinder eggs are for one, are outlawed in the US, and two, the effect is too...gimmicked and set up...

You came on to the forum griffin, struck me as an intellectual magician, but automatically assuming we are all beginners is a mistake because i know that kischiman, as well as gunsnroses know what they are doing, and I applaud them for taking the time, as well as all of the participants in the contest, to make the gaffs.

that's 100% right

gaffs CAN be useful... but only being a gaff doesn't make them useful...

Ok, please no more fighting. I understand there was a misunderstanding, but any more of this I will give both culprits a warning and remove their posts.

Please sit down, take a few deep breaths and keep the thread on topic.

Oh I can deffinitely agree that a lot of gaff cards are not useful at all. Nice to see that we got that sorted out

In my opinion kischiman's Gaffcard is the best. It is the most visual card. Just imagine the viewers reaction if you merge a torn egde into another card. This gaff reminds me of Nick Verna's Factory Sealed. But instead of a Bottle and a coin with cards.

And honestly ... the other entrys don't look very professional in comparison with kischiman's.

I'll have another contest similar to this once I'm done with this one.

The winner will get another cool thing as well...

Thanks guys! I hoped it would be at least a draw... Then we could do a live performance and you could vote for the videos... I just think not everyone can really imagine how the trick will look like in real perfomance and how it will astonish/impress people.
I just think a few of the gaffs are a bit childish. You can do them but the effect would be not very great, when you have chosen the wrong audience.
I really want to say that each gaff is great and nice.
But I don't understand why you think GunsnRoses' gaffs are the best. Of course, he is my enemy in this poll, but I'm not talking from this view.
I will give you an example. There are four fading queens in the Ghost Gaff Deck. And I just can not perform this trick, because I have no idea how to end clean and how to change four cards one after another. Another aspect would be the plausibility of the gaffs. How do you teach your audience that the ink just moved?
I did effects like this several times and it always ended up with the phrase "can I see the cards?" And that is not possible.
I am sorry if I was offending, I didn't mean to.
I wish you competitors best luck
and I hope the voters can now see what I mean, and instead of chosing the best looking or the most professional made gaff, imagining the situation of having them/it in the hands and performing. Which one will really make the heads of the spectators explode?
Thanks!

Hi kischiman,

Well, I just can't control the voters on what they are doing, I just made the gaffs oO
It was the best idea I had, so I made these gaff cards. I then of course thought of how to perform it. I think with the knowledge of some color changes you can perform this. I would also use 444 switch and a double facer and a double backer in my routine.

I tell you something: If I had to vote for one of the gaffs, I would also chose yours. I simply love the effect, sad they aren't printed in reality.

But please don't attack me, I just made the gaffs...not the poll

PS: Anyway thanks to all the voters!

Hi, I'm sorry, as I already told, I didn't mean to be offensive, and I really appreciate your work.
I just wanted to tell my opinion on this poll and what the voters should take attention to.
