[DONE]Gaff Cards Contest!

Okay guys, heres the deal, I'm running a contest and the prize will be 3 gaff cards of the winner choice, generally created and "donated" by me. The winner will recieve 3 gaff cards of their choice, (they'll have to run it over with me which one's I can make)
so they will recieve 3 gaffs, and they will recieve the images I used to create the cards. They will even recieve my handling of how to use the gaffs, just so they're not "stranded on a desert island".
Exo, will also be generously donating a free VIP account status. If you are already VIP then oh well...But you'll still get you're gaff cards

Too enter the contest simply post your entry: the image of the gaff card that you created using a graphic image editor (adobe photoshop, gimp 2, MS paint, etc.) You are also required to say what you would do with this gaff card, not the handling, just what you would do with it, tell us the "effect"
Note: The effect has to make sense, it cant be: "you blow on a card and it turns into slime"

All Entries Are Due on March 25th, you can just watch my signature to keep yourself posted because if I dont have enough entries I'm going to extend. But that doesnt mean take your sweet time.

I will have the poll up some time after 8:00 okay? If you are entered in the contest please vote for you'reself, or someone else, (if you would want too lol) The poll will be up soon, you have a little time before I take all entries so get them in!

There will be no "hired" judges, we will have a poll on the favorite gaff card, I will put up the pole when I recieve all of the submissions. Anyone who has posted once on the thread will recieve a notification via PM so that they can have like a week or so to finalize and send it in.

You will be judged on creativity, and the effect possible with the gaff by the other members.

Remember to give feedback on the other submissions!

*Gasp of Shock* A rival competition! Now I'm going to have to fire you. (Joke) Yeah, but seriously. VIP status or some goofy gaff cards? I know which one I'd choose. (Another joke) Looks interesting, but what about P&P? Will this be a marketing thing, i.e. will you sell your gaffs commercially? etc. etc. etc. free VIP is so much simpler.

No, its just because people are always complaining on the "Gaff Card" thread that the cards wont work for them. But they've been working very well for me.

I would send them in an envelope sent by the post office, cards dont take up much space (or do they? O.o)

And I dont think I can get Exo to give away another VIP. But willthong, that is just you, if you dont like gaff cards and w/e thats cool, but I can think of a number of people who like them.


No, I wouldnt be sending them as part of my marketing, I would send them because someone would probably like some actually nice gaff cards, instead of buying a whole deck for $30-$40.

This is a great idea. I think it should be a contest in which:

Every person thinks of their own original creation for a gaff card. The people with the best ideas (judged by you or Exo) get the gaff cards of their choice, not necessarily their own.

You know those stickers/stamps that change when you see them from a different angle?

My idea is a mirage card in which a cards looks like one card from one angle, and when looked at from another angle it changes.

Is there already something called a Mirage Deck?

I don't know but this sounds familiar.

Yeah...that would be really cool, because I commented about what you just said in the other post. the post was on the exomagic cards right? Well anyway, I think thats a good idea for a contest, but any idea thats crazier than that is too crazy.

Some rules might be that it can't be TOO crazy. And it has to make some amount of sense.

A card that "turns into an elephant when you blow on it" is waayyy out of the question and I probably just wouldnt accept that.

So i'm going to ask exo if he will judge on the best gaff card "creation"

I'm really looking forward to win this contest being quite a decent graphic artist - I'm just lacking good ideas . My problem always was the printing and I don't know a lot about making gaffs (card splitting etc) at all.

Btw are your's good? Can't you just rub it off if it's "only" printed on?

Can anyone give my a link to the standard 54 Bike-808-faces as pictures in high quality?

Want me to post pics of some of my gaffs that I have with me? I'm in Williamsburg, VA, (I live in maryland) so I'd have to take the pictures with my phone and then put them on here.
