Ok well this is my first time seeing this thread... but here goes, I didn't hold up a sign or anything like that, just because it was filmed a couple days ago, but I assure you it's me, my youtube account, ccbeyer can verify, he was the camera man, if anyone does not believe me, I'll be happy to answer questions to prove it's myself...but I'm not expecting trouble...Not the best performance on the face of the earth, but it's a self created card effect, and no one is acting, we were pretending that we didn't know the people, but the reactions were real, all they knew is that we were going to film them participating in a magic trick....

My comment: nice, original trick with a stunning ending similar to 2 Card Monte. I like this a lot. Congratulations. One small point: the camera angles could be SLIGHTLY (or sleightly lol) better, as I believe you performed the pass yet we couldn't see it. It is meant to be an invisible pass, but perhaps not invisible to us. Thanks a lot for your entry! It has boosted my self-esteem tenfold!

I liked it. Several points here. You stuttered a bit and i found it hard for people to understand you. Maybe that's just me.
Like Will had said, we can see your pass. Work on your angles.
Some more audience participation would've been nice. There were 2 spectators and it would've worked better if the second spec chose the 2nd card because I noticed that he had trouble putting the card back into the fanned deck with just one hand.
This is very reminiscent of that David Blaine trick where the card is closed into a snadwiched hand and they switch. You kind of rushed into the revelation of the transpo. Try to build up the ending to make that effect all that more powerful. A rub, a magical gesture, a visual change, etc.
All in all I liked it. Keep those points in mind for your next performances.

Agreed. I liked how you performed this. However, we could see your pass. Which was expected of course. However I like how you masked your pass by talking to them. But one thing I want to bring to you is that you actually did not invent this trick. I have done this many times before and David blaine even used this trick in a street magic special.

I'm not aloud to mark your points yet, but I think it was performed well, you handled your pass well. However, you were not that creative, you didnt exactly make the trick your own. No disrespect, I liked how you performed it though

Hmmm...I'd hate to employ ridiculous ***********-style advertising techniques...but I might have to for the good of the competition lol. We have to have enough entries, or it'll just be a free VIP being given out! And thats a bad thing by the way.
