Congrats on your first vlog, man!
I'll be the first to answer your question, "What magic is to me". To me, magic is an escape, for both me and the spectators. It is a great hobby to do, fun to learn, and ll that. But more importantly, when you do an effect, and the spectator absolutely 100% believes that what you just did went beyond what they thought was possible, that is magic. Opening up people's minds, freeing them of their perceived limits, even if only for a moment. I'm sure I've said this before on here and elsewhere, but that's what it is to me. As for how my magic reflects that... I never sell my tricks as some "reaching into the ether", or some (Pardon me) shit like that. People who use sleights and gimmicks as a way to convince another that they literally have otherworldly powers are the lowest of the low. I always present them as a little thing I've noticed, or something cool to see. I'm trying to learn more tricks with everyday objects, impromptu, so I can be able to perform any time and any place. I'm interested in hearing other opinions, great question!
