Yet another "How To" that we want you to know about.
Knowledge is power. These are great to use for promotional pictures, juggling (to an extent), and to use on top of fake candles for you to grab the awesome flame from. Enjoy the Magic of Fire! P.S. Fire is hot and can burn you, you friends, and everything else. Exercise Caution. |

I'm pretty bemused as to how you can touch the fireball without it burning you. Anybody want to shed some light (semi-pun) on this?

I made this a while back, the key is to only put fire on one side(ie the top), and not to put too much. then you hold the bottom, and it looks like you are holding the fire, but you really arent. you can even touch the blue lame and its not that hot. To extinguish them, just squeeze them and they go it. For ome reason, my string always burned, so i had to make new ones often.

All the heat is at the top. There is no real heat at the bottom of the ball.
I have made these many times and they are very fun. Usually, I make them in a drunken stupor. You can use many different fluids to make the flames, but lighter fluid burns the cleanest and allows the heat to flow to the top. -Jacob
