Description:

This mod allows tournament and ladder management within vBulletin. Users can join tournaments, and progress through rounds of tournament (number of rounds depends on the number of players in tournament which is set on tournament creation). Users can also join ladders and challenge other players in the ladder.

Sorry I'm double posting i couldnt put any more atachment files in the other one so here is the other atachment files.

to add the torunament to the nav bar you wil need to do this.

Go to styles and templates-->edit templates-->navigation breadcrumb-->navbar.

In navbar search:

Add under:

Haha, I don't know how to implement any of that yet, but I sure will give it a whirl when things are sorted out with the Academy and ExoMagic is on it's feet again. Thanks mate. I want to be able to do contests and tournaments when we have people again.

Ok, somehow or other I can't figure out my mod for permissions, so I went and by force gave Will, Mystifier, and JCosta access to the Academy. You all should be able to see it now, you three have been added on a personal level.

Let me know. Maybe we wil have to do this anyway. It might help weed out the leeching scum. If you have to petition to get access, it will make us know who you are better before you get in.

I like the idea of a tournament, good idea jcosta.

And we should be able to do the whole "petition to get in" thing for now, but if our membership grows, it will be tough to keep up with the requests. However, we can cross that bridge when we come to it.

oh i think i know why its not working could you give me the name of the mod that you used for the exo academy please normally its because of this


you have to put users into groups like you have right now etc

but create a new group under usergroups
usergroup manager

and then after its all set up go to forum & moderators
and create another category if you want
and set which user have permissions to it and this should do the trick.
depending on your mod it should ask for the user Id who have permission to access the exo battle area
this is the ID's
admin 1
supermod 5
mod 7
etc

and on the MOD on vbulletin options they shopuld ask for the user ID's that have permission to see it or something like that

so just put
1, 5, 7, and then the battle user ID

and this should work now if you have already done this then try to unistall the MOD and installling it again.

Thank you jcosta for that information. Once we start receiving more users and activity I will look for a method in implementing this. It appears to be pretty simple to install, however we may want to have our own coded from scratch to support our needs.

Though not my strong suit by any stretch of the imagination, as I make a living now at Ruby and Java.
