New usernames for the staff

Hey everybody,
you might already have noticed it, but if not, here's the news:

All the staff members changed their usernames to their real names.

This helps us dropping our past and helps getting us a more reputable and reliable image.

Also, we changed the avatars to photos of ourselves.

To avoid confusion, we still have our old usernames right under our "new" name.

We would be glad to answer further questions.

Staff only? but why? it's ok to use nickname ya?!

Yes, it's fine to use a nickname, but we just felt that this would make the site more reputable, as Ben said.

As for the staff only part, we're the only one's "required" to change to their real names. You can change your username to your real name if you wish.

It's kinda cool, isn't it? Suddenly these people you have talked to about all sorts of things have a face, they have a life, they are real.

Hehe, indeed.

It is quite a breath of fresh air to be able to call everyone by name and put a face behind them. It is going to take some practice... I still find myself calling them "Breen" and "Guns" in ICQ.... I always called Sagachtek Lyle simply because I couldn't pronounce his name lol!

I think this is a great idea. Like has been said already, it's nice to put real names and faces to the nicks, and it should do wonders for the professional image of the site as a whole. Great job guys!
