Recent Down Time (12/22/2007)

Hello everyone,

Just to shoot some info your way. The recent downtime was due to an IP change. Our server had to get a new IP. Getting a new IP takes 5-15 hours due to the time for the domain to propagate properly.

Sorry for the recent down time!

I really missed this site yesterday when I was not able to open it. Checking out Exomagic belongs to my day's schedule.

But better to miss Exo one day than miss it for a longer time. Hope the new IP is better for our community.

yeah i totally agree with Hansi.

always when i open my pc the first site i log on to is either exomagic or youtube.
therefore i really missed it.
anyway now that its back up i can just continue with everything i do when i visit exomagic

As a recent refugee from Demonoid, I think it makes us (certainly me) nervous if the site goes down for any time.

is the server hosted on a home server?
its really slow

The initial loading time may vary. This server is hosted out of Malaysia. So you will experience slower speeds the further you are.

After the initial page load, your cache should take over and all other pages should generate generally quick.
