November 20th Details

So I've decided to release details of the November 20th update a little bit early.

On 20th November we will be adding a new section to the forum. This new section I feel has been missing from ExoMagic. This is of course a V.I.P section.

This new section will be strictly made available to V.I.P and Staff only. I think having your own forum section should be a perk of being a V.I.P. Also in this section staff will discuss ideas for the forum with the V.I.P's on some moves forward for ExoMagic, so the V.I.P's are in a way representatives for users on the forum.

I hope some of you will enjoy these new changes when they are implemented on 20th November at 6pm GMT.

Ok so Having totally LUCKED out and gotten a VIP badge I'd say that is pretty kewl...

BUT...

That is a pretty exclusive club. In reality that equates out to you (Eoin), me and Harold plus Alex of course.

It is going to be really hard to talk about Harold when he is there... . We could talk about Alex but he is there too (and besides he holds the key to release the dreaded ExoTroll!!) I really hate that misjief guy... He is a real bleepard, so let's complain about him.

Seriously though... I think we need more VIPs. We could Haze them and give them weird nicknames. It will be great! I kid but it would be nice to see the club grow a bit.

I really do miss the times when I could log in and there were a ton of topics just waiting for me. One of the first things I'd like to address is how to we bring 'that' back.

Maybe we make up a bunch of irreverent but funny badges to encourage people to post. For instance a word of the week badge - if you can use the word of the week in a post three times correctly you get that badge. The more hilarious it is the more points you get.

PS- I have no power to enforce anything or make things happen... But as an experiment I say grant the first person to respond, outside the group I named VIP privileges BUT he gets a derogatory nickname placed after his real one ( I loved Turd Ferguson!). Just a suggestion to liven things up.

Hopefully as we get more users, we'll have much more VIP's. I personally like the Word of the Week idea, very good. Whilst it is only a minor update for now, in the future i think it will become a great part of ExoMagic's community.
