Not to discourage you from buying it. You really see the value in buying it for yourself.

On the other hand, when you try to construct one yourself, you may end up creating something totally new or an improved version. I think of all the people who have taken Patrick Page's 'Easy Money' and created some very good variations and improvements to his idea. Just look at the Heiny 500, Extreme Burn, and Hundy 500- All started from Patrick Page's basic idea. The same is true with the 'Torn And Restored Newspaper' by Gene Anderson. There are many versions of this effect, all based on the basic effect from Gene Anderson.

What am I saying? Buy the effect (support the magic industry) but also don't be afraid to experiment and mage the effect better!
