It was brought to my attention a few weeks ago that the promotions were not properly working for the Forums.
What does this mean? This means that the system wasn't giving the 'authorization' for people with proper post counts to view Academy items.
I have gone through and fixed all three tiers (even though only the Level2/3 were affected). Below, I will attempt to explain this as best as possible:
In this picture, you will see each level the user is promoted.
To be promoted to level 1:
- You must be registered for 7+ days
- You must have Have 9+ posts
To be promoted to level 2:
- You must be registered for 30+ days
- You must have Have 80+ posts
To be promoted to level 3:
- You must be registered for 30+ days
- You must have Have 150+ posts
- OR you must have a reputation level of 50
If anyone has any questions on the promotions please contact me. The task is scheduled to run every hour to give promotions, so please be patient if you meet the requirements and haven't received your promotion.
