Skimming through the book, I ran across some good ideas. Some of the gadgets that are discribed can be improved upon and work well today. I was amused as I read about some of the effects using thread- if only they had invisible thread when the book was written. There are innumerable suggestions that would help even today. When talking about thread work, it mentioned dark clothing and that it is best to have all the lighting in front of you. Advice that we would do well to heed today.
I found it a very enjoyable read. There is so much information there that I'm sure that each time a skim through it, I'll gain some insight. Give this book at least a skimming. It will not be a waste of time.
