The Effect:
A spectator freely names any card. You whip out your Iphone/Ipod Touch and click on an app named "RisingCard". You then hand the device to the spectator, they shake it, and they're card magically rises out of the deck.
The Review:
If you are an everyday Iphone/Ipod Touch user, this app will work wonderfully for you. The secret is simple yet very deceptive. Super easy to do after about 2 minutes of practice. The only downside: If you own a jailbroken Iphone/Ipod Touch, this may be difficult to perform on your friends. I'm not going to go into more detail, as that will be borderline exposure.
ALSO, if you own an iPod Touch, it may be more difficult to do this effect. As long as you are careful, it shouldn't matter, but there is a posssibility that the inherent nature of the app will "give away" the effect.
The Rating:
6/10
If you want a cool trick for the touch/iPhone, go for it. It will work amazingly. Minus two points for not being completely compatible with jailbroken items (But there's no surprise there), and a slight goof in the gui of the app.
This effect is obviously marketed for the iPhone rather than the Touch. It's not a huge deal, but the least T11 could have done was make a different app for both types of gadgets. Minus two extra points for that, because it's a mistake that would have been easy to fix.
