I have this effect and it is extremely well done. Yes, it does require a gimmick, however, it is easy to make and simple to incorperate. The handling is simple to learn and will blow people away. You can slowly change either the face or back of a card. I'm not a huge fan of gaff cards, but sometimes an effect is so great, that I will use them, such as this, or others like A Dream Of Aces, Moving Pips, and other such effects. If you want a pretty simple effect that hits hard and the gaff is easy to make, then go with this. David Forrest is a pretty good magician and I hope to see more from him.
