Hey guys! This is my first post on this blog, I’m very excited to be here, and I’m looking forward to seeing your comments/questions/genius etc.

I'll be the first to answer your question, "What magic is to me".
To me, magic is an escape, for both me and the spectators. It is a great hobby to do, fun to learn, and ll that. But more importantly, when you do an effect, and the spectator absolutely 100% believes that what you just did went beyond what they thought was possible, that is magic. Opening up people's minds, freeing them of their perceived limits, even if only for a moment. I'm sure I've said this before on here and elsewhere, but that's what it is to me.
As for how my magic reflects that... I never sell my tricks as some "reaching into the ether", or some (Pardon me) shit like that. People who use sleights and gimmicks as a way to convince another that they literally have otherworldly powers are the lowest of the low. I always present them as a little thing I've noticed, or something cool to see. I'm trying to learn more tricks with everyday objects, impromptu, so I can be able to perform any time and any place.
I'm interested in hearing other opinions, great question!
